Locked: Unjustly kicked from server

I said the sentence: Haven't you completed your skyscraper?

Got kicked.

Relogged and asked what I said wrong which got me killed, and stupidly said: Was it the word Skyscraper?

Got kicked again.

Is it because the word has rape in it? How sensitive is this plugin, and is it possible to get a refund?

I'm sure many people have that problem all the time, and I also think the moderators and admins won't have enough time to monitor who gets kicked like you did. Yes the plugin is very sensitive which is why I highly recommend you use more simple words, like "building".

Finally a plugin which punishes the intelligent who are capable of using words containing more than 7 letters :d

I don't mind losing the 1000 gigs, it's just kinda lame to get kicked "for no reason"

It was either rape or crap. If you got kicked the first time, then you should have not said it to again to begin with.

If we refunded you, we would have to refund everyone that used foul language.

I gave this post a -1.

Foul language? Skyscraper is foul language? You know as well as anyone that the plugin is horrendously coded. He didn't know that, and has to pay for it. Poor show, moderation team.

I kind of agree.. the least they could do is make a broadcast or something that informs players of how sensitive the plugin is.

Skyscraper is not foul language, you know it isn't and you know we know it isn't. The censor is sensitive to stop people evading easily. Yes okay a few words trigger it, but most of the time it is absoloutely fine and you can chat without it triggering. Zetacon was pointing out that if we refund one user over it we have to refund every other user to be fair or we get people moaning about it. Next time make sure you say something constructive that doesn't put the server down or don't say anything at all.

If you have a problem with our moderation you can always leave, the door is always open. Or you can constructively suggest the issues and come to a resolution...

I've refunded you Vikingbeard, and you Born2Eat.

No need to shout at the mods, they're just trying to be fair to everybody.

It's easy to say "plugin is badly coded!!!oneone" but its possible that words can be hidden inside others, and the plugin is looking for that, sometimes normal words can be caught in the crossfire.

It's only a very small amount of words that will get you kicked, if it wasn't the case there would be a lot more complaints. If you do get kicked, let us know (PM the word to a staff member thats available) and try and avoid those words in the future.

Actually, what Zetacon said was, which you can read in your own quoted post, was that in order to refund someone that said "skyscraper" he would also have to refund everyone that used foul language.

All of my posts are constructive, Jordan. If I say something that paints the server in a negative light, that is simply me being honest. As I have said in the past, when a staff member jumps on me about "negativity", Duncsweb MC server is the best I have seen - it is far from perfect, but expecting perfection is unrealistic. (Especially when my own perception of "perfection" is different from another's, in this metaworld)

That said, I will continue to voice my opinions on issues, and will always do my best to do so in a civil and reasonable manner. I will not go so far as to "not say anything at all." If I perceive a problem with something, I will voice my concerns. As staff, it is up to you guys to discern whether or not my perception(s) are valid.

You have to keep one thing in mind - If I thought Duncsweb weren't worthy of my free time (which admittedly has been slim as of late) I would not be here. The fact that I am here is testament to the work that you (staff) have put in. So, don't forget that when you read something "negative" from me. I'm simply trying to make Duncsweb the best it can be, in my own way.

Really, the "door is always open" line gets old. You should know that I'm here to stay, unless I'm simply not wanted, and my feedback is really that worthless. I do know where the door is, and as I said, if I didn't want to be here I wouldn't. It's that simple.
